Quick Virus Remover is a very limited virus removal program, which searches for files created by common viruses and removes them. NOTE: QVR is not intended to replace commercial antivirus programs! It is only meant to be used as a last resort in the event that a malware infection disables your existing security software. I repeat, DO NOT RELY ON QVR ALONE FOR ANTIVIRUS PROTECTION. Please see sections 8 and 9 of the help file for important legal information in this regard.
Our strategy is to remain a small and obscure program. This way, the cyber criminals who develop viruses and other malware will not see it as a threat, and they will not attempt to neutralize it in their viruses. If we are successful, users may use QVR as a fallback application when their commercial security software fails to protect against or remove a particularly dangerous infection.
