After installation, Ewido Anti-spyware runs in the background, taking up few system resources and offering comprehensive real time protection. Any time an application is installed or launched, Ewido Anti-spyware scans it for potential threats, meaning you can get on with normal operations without worrying about spyware intrusions. Things are simplified further by the well set out interface design. If there was to be one complaint, it would be that Ewido Anti-spyware tends to list each individual spyware threat instead of grouping them into "families" as some other applications do, thus giving the sometimes false impression that your PC has a large amount of spyware threats after each scan. This has no bearing on performance or functionality however, and is merely an observation rather than a real complaint. There can be no denying the effectiveness with which this application goes about removing spyware quickly and conveniently, making it one of the truly outstanding freeware anti-spyware utilities.
