Jetico Personal Firewall gives a poor first impression, and it would be understandable to dismiss it at first based on the awkward interface design and complicated nature of the application in general. If you persevere beyond these initial shortcomings however, you will discover a very adequate personal firewall application and a great way to secure your internet connection. The stability and performance of Jetico Personal Firewall are top notch, and it does everything you would expect from a freeware firewall application. Intended for network and internet connection monitoring and defining security profiles for advance system users only, Jetico Personal Firewall will definitely not appeal to beginners. If you are an experienced user in need of a solid free firewall, then this application is a good option. Were it not for the poor interface design and the lack of user friendly features, it would certainly be one of the best free firewalls available. Still, as it stands, it is an adequate application worth the download, it’s just a petty that it is not as accessible and appealing as it could have been.
