Review by FileBEAST's Nameless_1:
SpamPal is an adequate tool for tagging spam messages, running as a local server and intercepting mail before it arrives in your inbox. SpamPal doesnt actually filter messages, but rather tags them with a "SPAM" header, allowing you to then deal with it appropriately. This can be rather useful, and the tool features comprehensive blacklist and white list features, allowing you to add or remove senders from the tagged list with considerable ease. While performance is good, the fact that SpamPal doesn't actually filter your messages means that it falls behind some of the other freeware spam filters available. For basic spam tagging, this tool is adequate, but before you download the program, be aware that there are more comprehensive spam solutions available.
Publishers Description
SpamPal sits between your email program and your POP3/IMAP4 mailbox, checking your email as you retrieve it. Any email messages that it considers to be spam will be "tagged" with a special header; you simply configure your email client to filter anything with this header into a separate folder and your spam won't be mixed up with the rest of your email anymore.
